Saudi Blood and Marrow Transplantation Registry

This will be observational disease registry study. The data will be collected retrospectively for patients transplanted prior to the starting time of this study/registry. After launching of this study/registry all data for patients to be transplanted also will be collected prospectively.  Upon entry into the study each patient will be followed prospectively for a period of 5 years or until patient’s death whichever occurs first.

All patients who underwent or will undergo stem cells transplant will be enrolled in this registry. The aim of this study is to establish a Saudi Blood and Marrow Transplantation Registry(SBMTR)  patient registry to gather data on patient characteristics, clinical presentations, sub types, staging, prognostic factors, genetic make-up, treatment patterns, and short and long term outcomes specific to the Saudi Arabian population.
