MEMBERSHIP

SSBMT society offers two memberships to all individuals who have interest in Hematology, Hematopathology, Oncology and/or stem cell transplantation

Active – Physicians

Active – Physicians

Working in the field of stem cell transplantation and other stem cell applications and research, blood disorders and cancer, hematopathology and related specialties and technologies.

Associate – Non-Physicians

Associate – Non-Physicians

Allied professionals who have interest in hematology, blood and marrow transplantation, or stem cell applications.

ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP

    1. This membership is open to all physicians and all professionals working in the field of
      • Stem Cell Transplantation and other stem cell applications and research
      • Blood disorders and cancer
      • Hematopathology and related specialties and technologies
    2. Membership fee is free to all physicians
    3. Has to be accepted by the SSBMT Board.

As a member of SSBMT, you will receive exposure to and interaction with the Saudi network of multi-disciplinary hematologist/oncologist/BMT experts.  SSBMT membership allows you to express your views via ongoing dialog with other members of your profession to impact the changing face of hematology / BMT in Saudi Arabia.

AN ACTIVE SSBMT MEMBER HAS THE FOLLOWING RIGHTS:

  • Opportunity to get involved in SSBMT Committees.

  • Submission of data for presentation at the annual meeting.

  • To receive information about the SSBMT Board and other activities, cooperative studies, and results of SSBMT research projects.

  • To be eligible for reduced fees to attend the Annual Meeting of the SSBMT

  • To receive SSBMT News

  • To access the annual survey of SSBMT activity

  • To be eligible for an individual discount subscription to the official Journal of the SSBMT

  • To have access to the SSBMT website and to statistical overviews related to hematology, oncology and BMT (subject to current privacy regulations)

    • Discussion groups on hematology and BMT-related topics
    • Access to BMT documentation, including lectures and other materials
    • Updated member directory (alphabetical, geographical, institution and by discipline)
    • Updated information on upcoming meetings
    • Links to other relevant sites of interest

  • Awards and Grants opportunities

  • Physicians registered at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties who are active members of the society are eligible for voting.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

  1. This membership is available to allied professionals who have an interest in hematology, blood and marrow transplantation, or stem cell applications. This category is especially appropriate for students, nursing and administrative staff of hematology or bone marrow transplantation centers, collection centers and processing laboratories, and for professional staff of corporations related to the field of hematology/oncology or blood and marrow transplantation.
  2. Nurses working in the field of hematology/oncology and stem cell transplantation are waived for membership fee. The SSBMT will require some documentation to assess their eligibility.
  3. Associate member pays the following fees:

1 YEAR SUBSCRIPTION

(includes up to 6 meetings, free registration and CME certificate) – saves SAR 1300

2 YEAR SUBSCRIPTION

(includes up to 12 meetings, free registration and CME certificate) – saves SAR 1200

3 YEARS SUBSCRIPTION

(includes up to 18 meetings, free registration and CME certificate)– saves SAR 4200
